Infrastructure

Infrastructure is the framework and inter-connectivity that any and every network needs. Whether two computers or two-hundred computers, without a proper infrastructure your systems will, at best, hobble along.

  • man_cablingCabling – From the beginning, adequate wiring and cabling is the groundwork that will provide stability and consistency to your network.  Whether for your computers or telecommunications, this is where it all starts.
  • NetwrokSwitchRouters and Switches – are the traffic lights and policemen of your systems.  These devices direct and manage the vast amounts of data traffic flowing from computer to computer.  They are also your means of providing internet access to all your employees.
  • Servers – These are the heart of your systems.  From File Servers providing central serverslocations for your documents and spreadsheets; to Print Servers allowing all employees to print to multiple printers and provide queue management; and even to database and financial servers, allowing high level access to invoices and sales records; servers are the sources of your data.
  • Hosting – Any good web site has a good web host.  From email wwwand web sites to that cool new web app everyone is talking about, it all lives somewhere in the cloud and that somewhere is a Hosting Provider.   see here for web hosting features
